Tenancy agreement, recovery of rent and repossession of property

 

One of the most common problems faced by landlords is that the tenant fails to pay the rent on time. In accordance with the laws of Hong Kong, in general, if the tenant fails to pay the rent on time, even within 15 days after the expiry, the owner has a right to terminate the tenancy agreement and apply to the court for recovering the rent and repossessing the property.
