To prove that the existing name on the birth certificate and the intended new name to be used in the identity card is referring to the same person by signing a Deed Poll in our lawyers’ presence. It is available on the same day you retain us.
Parents should handle on behalf of minors under 18 years of age who want to change their names.
No limitation on the number of times of changing names.
Chinese name: not exceeding 6 characters
English name: not exceeding 40 words
Cannot use punctuation marks
Cannot contain foul language or insulting words
